About Dibrugarh University:
Dibrugarh University (DIBRU) was established in the year 1965 by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It was established in 1965 under the provision of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The University is situated at Rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometers to the south of the premier town of Dibrugarh in the eastern part of Assam as well as India. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The university offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in multiple disciplines. The University Campus is spread in an area of more than 500 acres of which 60 acres are still covered under tea plantation. Dibrugarh University Admission is made through entrance exams. The university also accepts CAT, MAT, CMAT score for MBA.
