Admission notice for Faculty of Languages 

The department is running French and German language courses at Certificate and Diploma level since 1970. In 2008-09 the department started Advanced Diploma in French and German. The demand for the languages has been consistently increasing with the awareness of the students about the job opportunities a foreign language could offer. Before few years, mostly students from elite and urban background used to seek admission in Foreign Languages. But now-a-days students from rural background are also taking keen interest in learning a foreign language. Students mostly from professional degree courses are more interested in foreign languages.

(1) Course:- Certificate Course in French

Duration and No. of Seats:-   (1 Yr.) 120 

Eligibility Admission Criteria:- Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2)

(2) Course:- Diploma Course in French

Duration and No. of Seats:-   (1 Yr.) 60

Eligibility Admission Criteria:- Certificate Course in French. or Pre-university or B.A. Part-I with French as compulsory/elective subject.

(3) Course:- Advanced Dip. in French
